This version of our popular 2 button arcade stick is for the Atari 7800 and 2600+ consoles and is a suitable replacement for the CX78 gamepad. The joystick has 2 independent fire buttons when used with a compatible Atari console. It also has backwards compatibility when plugged into an older console or computer not supporting 2 buttons. In this situation either button will perform as a single fire button.
As with all of our joysticks the body is a tough 3D printed shell and can be customised by changing the colour or logos of your choice.
The actual joystick mechanism and buttons are from a manufacturer of arcade cabinet parts and so are incredibly durable and responsive.
The joystick layout is the traditional stick left buttons right, but we can make it the other way round upon request.
